Cover Design

 

ALEXANDRA ANDRIES designs the book covers for the ABPress. She is also a musician, failed retailer, artist and designer from Bucharest. Recently Cristina has been touring the Greek islands with her young son, a mobile home (she is passionate about vans, especially the sort that don’t break down or catch fire) and a laptop, but returns occasionally to Romania to perform in a musical group that works in theatres, improvising to historic silent movies; she builds houses in the middle of fields also. She studied photography and video at the National University of Arts (Bucharest), and has worked most recently as a book designer at Editura Art in Bucharest, responsible particularly for designing its covers. Also she runs Papelier [@atelierpapelier on Facebook], a company that makes handmade paper products, from classic stationery to decoration and home furnishings.
